Taylor Swift Umumkan Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) Akan Dirilis Juli 2023

Setelah dirilisnya album Midnight dan music video dari Bejeweled yang dipenuhi dengan konspirasi dan easter egg buatan Swifties (iykyk), it’s finally happening! Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) akan menjadi album re-recorded selanjutnya yang akan dirilis pada bulan Juli 2023.

Berita mengenai perilisan Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) ini diumumkan pada akun Instagram pribadi @taylorswift yang disertai dengan informasi pre-order violet vinyl dari album tersebut. “I think rather than me speaking about it,” ucap Taylor pada pertunjukan Eras Tour di Nashville, Pennsylvania, kota kelahirannya, “I thought I would show you, so if you would direct your attention to the big screens…”, kalimat tersebut kemudian disusul dengan layar di Nashville’s Nissan Stadium yang menunjukan album cover serta tanggal perilisan Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). Tidak hanya itu, lampu pada jembatan di Cucumberland River yang berada di dekat stadium juga berubah menjadi warna ungu, you’re really the mastermind, Taylor.

“I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing… and living to speak about it.
